HRLocker is proud to sponsor the Clare Ladies Gaelic Football team in the All-Ireland Intermediate final on Sunday the 25th of September.

“Hello this is Liz at HRLocker….”
My children think this is one of the most HYSTERICAL phrases ever! They imitate me answering my work phone and want to work with me!
My name is Liz and I returned to the “paid” work force in September 2015. I was a good old fashioned “Stay at home Mammy” for many years before this. When my youngest baby (Yes I do realise he was not a baby, but they are ALL still my babies as far as I am concerned) started school in August, I started the job hunt. My background was software engineering, but I had enjoyed a myriad of roles along the way. After being out of the workforce for so long, I was not sure where to begin… what I could apply for… etc…
The universe, along with a good friend, directed me to apply for a role in HRLocker. A cloud based Software Company, located here in County Clare in Lahinch of all places! The company has a strong work play emphasis and embodies flexibility and opportunity. They were willing to give me an interview.
The rest is history…. I started work, with patience and training, I found my feet, and regained confidence in the work environment.
I love my job. This is a great company to work for and I love helping customers. I love answering “Hello this is Liz at HRLocker….” it is not my best role, doesn’t compare to being “Mammy”, but it is has been empowering to pursue this other role.
Combining work and play, family life and activities takes dedication. This dedication can be seen in the entire panel and management of the Clare Ladies football team. As they prepare for their All Ireland Intermediate final on Sunday the 25th of September, they balance training with work and college commitments. We at HRLocker are proud to sponsor a player. We wish the whole team well in their preparations for the final.
