Collate the data and assess what the next steps are. Schedule a one-on-one meeting where you can have a chat with each member of your team. This is a great way to get a real sense of what’s going on with them. The key for managers is to remove that fear from employees so they feel safe opening up, creating an open, transparent workplace where your employees feel heard.
Show leadership by making changes based on the one-to-one meetings. Be open about how you will address certain issues that have been raised and give some feedback on how you can improve the situation.
It takes commitment from management to listen to their employees, and to help them navigate through changes in the workplace.
