Who is Dermot Casey, CEO of Industry Research and Development Group?

Dermot has a vast background in Technology and Innovation. He’s worked as a strategic advisor to hundreds of companies in spaces as diverse as AI, IoT and MedTech with Resolve Partners and NDRC, Ireland’s national pre-seed investor and accelerator. He was COO and CTO at Storyful growing the company from 2 to 35 people over three years.

Earlier in his career Dermot worked in a variety of technical and leadership roles in General Electric. He was an adjunct lecturer in Strategy, Innovation and Digital Transformation at the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, UCD.

As well, Dermot is a Director of the Festival of Curiosity and a Board Member of the National Standards Authority of Ireland.
